Privacy Policy
In summary: PunPics does not require a user account. The App uses Google AdMob to display ads and uses Firebase Analytics, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and Firebase Crashlytics. These services may automatically collect device identifiers, app activity, ad interactions, diagnostic information, and an IP address that may be used to estimate general location. Where required, PunPics uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request advertising consent. PunPics is not directed to children under 13.
1. Information We Handle
Information you provide
PunPics does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, or other contact information to play. If you contact us for support or otherwise communicate with us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, and any attachments.
Information collected automatically
The App and the third-party services described below may automatically collect or process:
- App activity and gameplay information, such as app launches, sessions, screen views, gameplay events, levels completed, button taps, ad impressions, ad taps, and video views.
- Device and app information, such as device type, operating system, language, app version, device settings, and mobile network information.
- Identifiers, such as a Firebase App Instance ID, Firebase Installation ID, Crashlytics Installation UUID, Android Advertising ID, Apple advertising identifier (IDFA) when available and permitted, and other device or app identifiers.
- Internet and approximate-location information, including IP address, which may be used to estimate a device's country or general location. PunPics does not intentionally request precise GPS location.
- Advertising information, such as ad requests, the ads displayed, interactions with ads, and information used to measure, personalize, limit, and prevent fraud involving advertising.
- Diagnostics and performance information, such as crash stack traces, error reports, device state at the time of a crash, app launch time, hang rate, and other technical information used to diagnose problems.
- Notification information, such as a Firebase Installation ID or registration token used to deliver push notifications and information about notification delivery.
PunPics does not intentionally request access to your contacts, precise location, photos, or media library for its advertising or analytics functions.
2. Services Used by PunPics
Google AdMob
PunPics uses Google AdMob to request, display, measure, and protect advertisements. Depending on your region, consent choices, device settings, and applicable law, AdMob may provide personalized or non-personalized ads. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share information such as IP address, app and ad interactions, diagnostic information, device identifiers, advertising data, and general location derived from IP address.
Firebase Analytics
PunPics uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the App is discovered and used, measure engagement, improve gameplay, evaluate marketing, and plan advertising campaigns. Firebase Analytics may collect automatically logged events, user properties, an App Instance ID, device information, and mobile advertising identifiers when available. We may use aggregated or pseudonymous reports and audience information to decide how and to which audiences PunPics should be advertised. If Firebase Analytics is linked to Google Ads, Analytics events, campaign information, and audiences may be shared between those services for measurement, attribution, advertising, and campaign optimization.
Firebase Cloud Messaging
PunPics uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver optional push notifications, such as news or information about new content. Firebase Cloud Messaging uses a Firebase Installation ID and registration token to determine where messages should be delivered. You can turn off notifications at any time in your device settings.
Firebase Crashlytics
PunPics uses Firebase Crashlytics to identify crashes, understand how many installations are affected, and diagnose technical problems. Crashlytics may process crash stack traces, Crashlytics Installation UUIDs, Firebase Installation IDs, device information, app state, and related diagnostic information.
Google processes information collected through these services under its own terms and policies. For more information, see:
- Google Privacy Policy
- How Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services

3. How Information Is Used
We and our service providers use information to:
- operate, maintain, and improve PunPics;
- understand app usage, engagement, and gameplay patterns;
- display, personalize, limit, and measure advertisements;
- understand which audiences may be interested in PunPics and plan, measure, and optimize marketing campaigns;
- deliver push notifications you have allowed;
- detect, diagnose, and repair crashes, errors, and performance problems;
- prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce applicable terms.
4. Personalized Advertising and Consent
Where required by applicable law or Google's policies, including for certain users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, PunPics uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present disclosures and request or record privacy choices. Depending on your choices, the App may request personalized ads, non-personalized ads, or limited ads.
In regions where a consent message is not required, personalized ads may be shown, subject to applicable law, Google's policies, your age or eligibility, and your device and Google ad settings. Personalized advertising may use identifiers and information about activity to select ads believed to be more relevant. Non-personalized ads may still use contextual information, general location, frequency controls, fraud-prevention information, and limited identifiers.
You can manage certain advertising choices by:
- making selections in a UMP privacy message when one is presented;
- visiting Google My Ad Center;
- using the advertising or tracking controls in your iOS or Android device settings; and
- resetting or deleting your mobile advertising identifier where your operating system provides that option.
On Apple devices, denying an App Tracking Transparency request prevents the App from using the IDFA for tracking across other companies' apps and websites. Ads may still be displayed and measured in ways permitted by Apple and applicable law.
5. Legal Bases for Processing
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, information is processed as applicable:
- with your consent, including for personalized advertising, use of certain identifiers, analytics storage, or notifications where consent is required;
- for our legitimate interests, such as operating, securing, analyzing, debugging, and improving the App, where those interests are not overridden by your rights;
- to provide the App and services you request; and
- to comply with legal obligations.
6. When Information Is Shared
Information may be disclosed:
- To service providers, including Google and its advertising and technology partners, so they can provide advertising, analytics, messaging, diagnostics, security, and related services.
- For legal and safety reasons, when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or governmental requests; protect rights, safety, and security; investigate fraud or abuse; or enforce applicable terms.
- In connection with a business change, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of the App, subject to appropriate protections and applicable law.
The use of personalized advertising services may be considered "sharing," "targeted advertising," or a "sale" under certain privacy laws even when no money is exchanged for the information. Where applicable, you may use the consent, advertising, or device controls described above to opt out.
7. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide and improve the App, resolve support requests, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information, how it is used, our analytics settings, and the third-party service involved.
Google and Firebase retain information collected through their services according to their configurations, documentation, and privacy policies. Aggregated or de-identified information that no longer identifies an individual or device may be retained for longer.
8. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, or sharing; appeal a decision concerning a privacy request; or complain to a data-protection authority.
PunPics does not use user accounts, and much of the information described in this Policy is held by service providers under pseudonymous app or device identifiers. We may not be able to connect that information to your identity or locate a particular record without sufficient information. We will respond to verifiable privacy requests as required by applicable law.
To submit a privacy request, email support@punpics.app. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
9. Data Security
Information transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Firebase services is generally encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
PunPics is intended for a general audience age 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the App, contact us at support@punpics.app so we can take appropriate action.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to PunPics, our service providers, applicable law, or our privacy practices. We will post the updated Policy at this location and revise the "Last updated" date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice where required.
